Clean electricity makes two products.

The power itself — and the proof that it was clean, carried on an I-REC(E) — the International Renewable Energy Certificate for electricity, issued under the I-TRACK Standard.

We put the meter behind the proof — and the proof in front of buyers.

Read at the inverter, every fifteen minutes. Verified and labelled as you generate.

Illustrative sample data

The C:Pesa DIGIREC® label can be applied to I-REC(E) certificates wherever an Issuer is approved by the I-TRACK Foundation under the International Attribute Tracking Standard.

C:Pesa® Appliances are running at solar sites in several countries with an I-REC(E) Issuer approved by the I-TRACK Foundation.

The Old WayvsThe C:Pesa® Way

We replaced the paperwork with an appliance.

The consultant, the evaluator and the wait all existed to check a number a person wrote down. Ours is written by the plant itself, read at the inverter and recorded on the Xpansiv I-REC(E) Registry.

Same standard. Same Xpansiv I-REC(E) Registry. Enhanced evidence

One Certificate no meter and no hour on it.

A conventional certificate tells you the month. Ours tells you the quarter hour.

Every DIGIREC carries the fifteen minute window its electricity was generated in, read at the inverter and sealed at the source. That's 96 windows a day where a conventional certificate has one block of months.

The environmental value claim

Now the C:Pesa DIGIREC® can be traded like spot electricity.

Clean electricity produces two values: the physical power that feeds the grid, and the environmental proof that certifies it was clean - the measurement and verification data behind the certificate.

01Liveit exists the moment the power doesOne certificate for every megawatt-hour, issued against the measurement as it arrives. There's no file to prepare, so there's nothing to wait on. The certificate follows the generation, like the metered electricity itself, rather than the paperwork.

Generation to certificate, end to end, without a person in between

A DIGIREC® claim is auto-issued to Xpansiv the moment 1 MWh is generated. The reading is taken every 15 minutes.

02Verifiableanyone can check it — your auditor, or the buyer’s compliance teamSix things travel with every certificate. Three of them don't exist on a conventional one. Deep audit trail, timestamps, and verifiable appliance-sealed identity records are baked into the asset directly.

Compared to a conventional certificate

  • 01

Listed the day it's issued, not months after

Buyers see the facility, the generation window and your price before they bid.

Captured for assurance and audit, not reconstructed after the fact.

Every certificate carries its granularity and traceability; Buyers, regulators and compliance managers can verify to meet reporting standards.

Same certificate. Enhanced evidence.

We enhanced the evidence, not the certificate.

Same standard, same registry, same one-megawatt-hour unit. What's different is what you can check.

DIGIREC certificate with meter-backed evidence under a magnifying glass

C:Pesa DIGIREC®

Meter-Sealed

Issued against

Conventional: A declaration the generator prepares

C:Pesa®: A measurement taken at the inverter

Reading comes from

Conventional: The generator's own systems via 3rd party manual checks via consultants

C:Pesa®: The C:Pesa® appliance reads, organises the verified claim & submits automatically for issuance.

How often

Conventional: Every few months

C:Pesa®: Every fifteen minutes

Time of issue

Conventional: 60-180 days

C:Pesa®: Every 1 MWh produced, a C:Pesa DIGIREC® is auto-issued

Period & Location

Conventional: An undifferentiated block of months with manual confirmation of location

C:Pesa®: A time-stamped fifteen-minute window, GPS coordinates & cryptographically hashed, issued at 15-minute intervals

Evidence

Conventional: Date of issuance, date of redemption

C:Pesa®: You can check its beginning, now and later - the whole chain

Secondary market

Conventional: Bilateral or broker-led

C:Pesa®: To be listed on the marketplace, with bid and offer

A DIGIREC does not constitute a separate certificate. All renewable energy attributes are derived exclusively from the underlying I-REC(E) certificate. The label and associated verification data provide additional information relating to the generation and verification of the underlying I-REC(E).

The certificate is the standard's. The evidence is ours.

Two roles. One market.

You either make the power, or you need the proof it was green.

Both meet on the C:Pesa® Marketplace. Here's what changes for each.

State A

If you generate

  • Your plant already generates what a certificate records. Most of it is never certified.

  • The C:Pesa® Appliance at the generation plant.

The plant itself isn't touched or modified.

  • 60-180 days of paperwork per cycle —

so most sites never bother collecting them.

  • A commodity I-REC(E) is interchangeable.

Yours carries provenance, chain of custody and lifecycle traceability.

State B

If you consume

  • You're already buying certificates. You can't check any of them.

  • A registry entry is the entire answer you have when someone asks how you know.

  • Every certificate arrives with its meter, its minute and its validation event.

  • Hourly matching, CBAM — the European Union’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism — electricity accounting and Scope 3 supplier evidence all call for it. A periodic declaration can't provide it.

  • Buy on the C:Pesa® Marketplace, retire against a named beneficiary, export the provenance record.

  • Verify any retirement yourself on the registry, using its key.

Every size of plant

From a 50 kW rooftop to a utility scale farm.

A certificate is issued for every megawatt-hour, whatever the size of the plant. If your site generates and you own its environmental attributes, it can be registered once our onboarding checks are complete.
